The Bible is an interesting book to read. I have not read the whole thing cover to cover, but it is not a book which requires that. It contains many short stories and something can be gained from reading just a paragraph. There are many lessons in this book and it can change your perspective. Other than what you can gain from reading it there are many interesting stories. There are stories ranging from a person creating the universe in a week, to a man building a giant boat and getting two of every animal, to a man who cured the blind and rose from the dead. The Bible is not a traditional narrative, but it has many features that you would not find in a traditional narrative. It contains a mass compilation of stories that can both entertaine and teach. The Bible contains both life lessons and interesting stories. The Bible has something for everybody and if you read any of it you will find something to hold onto.
